Lectures by PRX and PRA editors

In this talk, we will give a current report on the Physical Review journals and provide some submission and publication statistics that are evidence of the growing role of China within the international physics community. In the second part of the talk, we will give a short overview of the editorial process and the workflow associated with the editorial handling of a typical manuscript, and explain what the editors look for in a paper / referee report / cover letter, and how the communication between authors, referees, and editors can be made productive. We will also give some essential guidelines and tips for how to write a good paper. Finally, we want to hear from YOU and get your feedback on our family of journals and the editorial process, and we want your suggestions for improving the relations between all the parties involved in the peer review process.
